Uses
Many of these tub chairs are seen in pairs. From the very beginning these chairs were paired together with a small end table to create a nice sitting space for reading or watching television. This layout is primarily designed for home use and most often is not the main focus of a room but more of a added feature that contributes to the rooms feel and inviting feel. Another typical use for these chairs is in the work environment. Many of these chairs are put in from of an executive desk with an executive chair facing them. They add more of a personal comfortable feel to an environment that can be intimidating or stressful. They take up relatively a small amount of room and are extremely comfortable thanks to the nicely rounded backing that the design of the tub chair contains

Materials
One of the great things about furniture of today is the thousands of variations that these pieces of furniture can come in. Materials can range from: polka dot, flowered, stripes, pattern, solids, to leather and velvet. Almost anything you can imagine to fit your room you can find some sort of variation in this type of chair. The most popular of the tub chair tends to be leather tub chairs. Something about the leather is what many people love for this chair design. It is so versatile for any environment home or office it will fit any environment it will be placed in. Another tub chair that is worth consideration is for those people that like a historic feel. The Victorian tub chair is going to be the choice style and material for you. The difference of this type of tub chair is mainly the material pattern which uses gold’s and reds. Many of these tub chairs also have accents added to them on the back like wooden dowels or wooden buttons. In any case, lather or fabric tub chairs are a perfect contribution to any home or office.
Swivel Chair or Stationary Chair
One thing that needs to be taken into consideration when purchasing a tub chair is if you want it to be stationary or be able to swivel. There are only a couple of things that need to be considered when this decision is made. The first is if these chairs are going to be in an environment that will require you to talk to multiple people. If this is the case than you may want to consider the swivel option for this chair. i find that for me I like this option the best and seems to be more comfortable and relaxing for me to be able to position the tub chair in the direction I want. The only consideration that I see with the swivel option is kids. If kids are going to be using this chair or even put into a kids bedroom the swivel option may not be the best one. Those small fingers tend to find their way under these chairs so I would recommend sticking with a tub chair that is stationary.
Other than that consideration, tub chairs are very similar to rocking chairs and are the perfect fit for any relaxing environment that you are trying to create. They are one of the best pieces of furniture that you will ever own due to their comfort as well as ability to fit into any room.

Hello,
Finally I found my chair. Where can one buy a slipcover for a bucket chair like the one with red flowers cover? I have a vintage Kohler covered with short orange plush a bit shabby now. It has hidden rollers, not legs.
Thank you, Jana L.
